DESTA worked with CRY to develop a process to engage children for climate awareness and develop local solutions to address local climate issues. Realising the importance of other stakeholders such as parents, the process was designed to engage the other stakeholders too. DESTA, with the help of CRY, tested two pilots in April 2024 near Delhi NCR to understand the effectiveness of the created content and to strengthen it for adaptability across diverse field locations of CRY. Feedback from these pilots was used to refine the process further. The pilot results were promising, with participants showing increased understanding of climate issues. This success has laid the groundwork for scaling the program, with plans to adapt the content for broader deployment across different cultural and geographical contexts.
