Prachi Sharma joined DESTA in April 2024. She brings experience in natural resources and governance, supported by a postgraduate degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Prachi’s academic background is complemented by practical experience in system dynamics, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making. She has made notable contributions to sustainable energy projects and community resource management, including the analysis and optimization of solar power plant operations and fieldwork focusing on grassroots development initiatives. In addition to her technical expertise, Prachi has worked in public relations and marketing, effectively managing stakeholder engagements and crafting strategic content. Her skills with emerging technologies such as Google Earth Engine, Python, and QGIS position her as a key contributor to our innovative projects.
