DESTA is working with SELCO Foundation on capacity building of their teams on systems thinking and enabling teams to apply the tools to selected programmes to build systemic strategies. These objectives are met through facilitated workshops with the project team members on capacity building in applied systems thinking, mapping their projects interventions, challenges, and opportunities for the projects going forward using tools of systems thinking. The models created from the workshops represent the collective understanding of the team, and thus can be used as a planning tool by the teams for their projects. DESTA is also working with partners of SELCO Foundation to help them understand common areas of work and strengthen their collaboration to achieve higher impact. SELCO has successfully identified four pillars of work with their partners through the systems thinking process and workshops.
