The report ‘Identifying Climate Adjacency: Key findings from four case studies and a synthesis’ was released by Rohini Nilekani. The report is an outcome of DESTA’s engagement with Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies (RNP). The objective of the engagement was to understand the linkages of non-climate focused projects with climate change, and climate action-namely adaptation and mitigation. The report contains key findings and systems stories from four case studies from different parts of India- Orans of Rajasthan, Rainforests of Valparai, Mangroves of Kutch and Community Conserved Areas of Maharashtra. It also contains a climate adjacency framework that explains how we see the interconnections between climate, development, environment and livelihoods. Read the report here.
